Introduction
Clay brick, commonly known as red brick, is a traditional construction material made from natural clay and shale. The raw materials are crushed, mixed, shaped, dried, and fired in a high-temperature kiln (approximately 900–1000°C). Its characteristic reddish-brown color results from the oxidation of iron present in the clay during the firing process. Known for its high durability, load-bearing capacity, and excellent thermal performance, clay brick remains one of the most essential materials for wall construction and building structures.
