Water-Based Bonding Promoter Primer for Interior and Exterior Substrates

YHPri-418 is a solvent-free polymer emulsion primer designed to improve surface roughness and bonding across concrete, masonry, wood, ceramic, metal, plasterboard, and other construction substrates.

YHPri-418 is a multi-function bonding promoter primer formulated from a solvent-free polymer emulsion. This water-based primer is designed to enhance surface roughness while providing bond strength, water resistance, and ageing resistance. It may be applied to concrete, lightweight cellular blocks, brick, stone, plasterboard, wood, ceramic, metal, and gypsum surfaces for both interior and exterior construction applications.

Application Features and Suitable Surfaces

The primer can be applied using a roller or brush and has a stated operable time of approximately 30–60 minutes. It includes a water-emission colour indicator and is described as extremely low in VOC. The stated full drying time is approximately four to six hours at 23°C, while complete drying after two coats depends on the application conditions. Recommended usage is approximately 0.2–0.3 kg per square metre per layer.
