YHLatex-400 MY is a water-resistant VAE emulsion used as a cement-based bonding agent and mortar additive for tile adhesive, concrete repair mortar, floor levelling mortar, and thin-layer patching work.

YHLatex-400 MY is a VAE emulsion formulated for use as a cement-based adhesive and additive in on-site mixed mortar. This polymer bonding agent can be incorporated into cement and mortar applications where improved bonding, impermeability, and reduced shrinkage are required. It is suitable for tile adhesive, concrete repair mortar, floor levelling mortar, and thin-layer patching mortar used in construction, repair, and surface preparation projects.

Practical Features and Applications

The formulation is designed to be easy to use while providing good impermeability and helping reduce shrinkage and cracking in cement-based mixtures. For adhesive applications, the stated mixing proportion is one part YHLatex-400 MY to two parts cement. For mortar applications, the recommended proportion is two parts cement, six parts sand, and one part YHLatex-400 MY, although the actual water quantity depends on the moisture content of the sand. The milky-white liquid becomes transparent after drying, with a stated drying time of approximately three to five hours at 25°C.
